		<description>This is precisely the way that the OLD Wordperfect started. Nice clean screen in order to type stuff, without having to worry about formatting.  Similar for another oldie, but forget the name. This is from early DOS vintage.... early 90&#039;s, Late 80&#039;s. LOL!
Authoring, as you point out, is really about words not layout. Students forget that, and it gets in their way, IMO.</description>
